Baros Island Resort is only 25 minutes from the airport by speedboat. This beautiful island lies alone in the Indian Ocean in safe, tropical seclusion with neighboring islands and Malé distant silhouettes on the horizon.

Baros Villas

There are 20 Baros Villas. Beside the bliss of the sun-blessed beach, each Baros Villa is discreetly sheltered by tropical vegetation, with private terrace and sun deck for lounging a few paces from the water's edge. The ingeniously-designed interior has a kingsize bed enclosed by curtains, louvered blinds on either side to let in sunlight, an exotic bathroom with contemporary tub, and a rain shower in a secret garden.

Water Villas

There are 30 Water villas are grouped in a crescent just a minute's walk from the shore. Each Water Villa is intimately exclusive with a private sun deck and wooden steps for dipping into the lagoon. The Villas inspire romance, exquisitely furnished with devotion - a curtained kingside bed draped in silk and cotton, a sumptuous bathroom surveying the sea - a relaxing ambience of delightful hedonism.

Deluxe Villa

The Deluxe Villas are set in glades by the beach. They exude sheer sophistication by their flawless styling. The veranda is tiled. Each spacious bedroom has teak floors, a large sofa and kingsize bed. The bathroom features a stand-alone tub that entends into a sandstone-walled flower garden refreshed by a waterfall shower.

You have many choices when it comes to dining on Baros Island. You have the Lime Resturant, where you dine from open-sided pavilions over the water. The Cayenne Grill features al fresco dining in thatched gazebos above the lagoon. With service to match the superb cuisine and an atmosphere of relaxed refinement, the overwater Lighthouse Restuarant is the island's highlight.

If you prefer, on demand 24-hours a day - breakfast, snacks, meals and drinks are served with discretion in the confidential privacy of guests' Villas.

Baros Maldives has its own oval-shaped house reef rich with marine life and being so close to the shore (10 to 15 metres) that even non-divers can swim to it and spend hours effortlessly snorkeling. The reef has gentle slopes and is easy of access. Then around the island there are 30 superlative dive sites (North Male' Atoll) that never fail to delight even the most experienced diver.
